Step into a rewarding, contract-based opportunity supporting students in diverse learning environments for the 2026-27 school year. Positions are available for experienced Special Education Teachers seeking in-person roles within established elementary and middle schools. You'll provide critical instruction and case management, fostering a supportive educational experience for students with a wide range of needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching credentials that meet state requirements
  • Prior experience in a K-8 setting strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Effective classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
  • Collaborate well with general education staff and families
  • Committed to in-person service; remote/VOCO roles are not available for these positions
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and supports for students on IEPs
  • Design and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of both elementary and middle school learners
  • Oversee caseload management, including data collection and progress monitoring
  • Engage in multidisciplinary teams to drive student growth
  • Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Partner with families to build strong home-school connections supporting student progress
