Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting K-12 students with occupational therapy interventions in the Denver area. This role offers a chance to make a difference providing leave coverage services across various school settings, collaborating with educational teams, and addressing the diverse needs of students from kindergarten through high school. In this onsite, full-time position, you’ll be part of a dedicated group working to help every learner succeed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active CO Department of Education Occupational Therapist Certification for ages birth through 21
  • Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans for different age groups and caseloads
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to complete a background check as part of the credentialing process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services onsite to students in K-12, in alignment with IEP goals
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy strategies to address students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and participation in the educational environment
  • Document therapy plans, progress, and outcomes in compliance with district protocols and federal/state regulations
  • Provide timely input at IEP and multidisciplinary meetings as requested
  • Manage an evolving caseload across assigned schools; flexibility in settings and schedules may be required

This contract assignment is set for an immediate start and continues through October 2026, offering you stability and a chance to impact students’ lives during a vital period. Schedules are Monday through Friday, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.
