Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education Teacher license in hand (required)
- Previous experience working with special education populations highly preferred
- Comfortable delivering instruction in an in-person classroom setting
- Collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for working within diverse teams
- Openness to grade level placement based on district needs and your preference
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Provide differentiated instruction to maximize student learning
- Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and families
- Perform regular progress monitoring and data collection
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom community
