Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a School Psychologist in an educational setting near Rockford, IL. What we're seeking:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners and advocating for student well-being

Your contributions will include:

  • Administering assessments to identify students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop effective strategies for student support
  • Providing direct counseling or interventions for students individually or in groups
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the creation of IEPs and 504 plans
  • Consulting with families to guide understanding and interventions both in school and at home
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive school climate
