In this full-time, onsite position (8 am–4 pm, 37.5 hours per week), you’ll work with a small caseload of 12 students—18 to 21-year-olds—at a Transitions Center. Guide these motivated individuals toward job readiness and independent living by teaching vital skills in both classroom and community environments. Your impact extends beyond academics as you shape lives and futures.

Qualifications:

  • Flexible, adaptable team player
  • Minimum of one year of classroom experience
  • Active CDE license (or proof of being in process; must submit before interview)
  • Commitment to student-centered, hands-on instruction

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct teaching of job readiness and functional independence skills
  • Write and implement IEPs and Behavior Support Plans
  • Collect and analyze student data
  • Engage in community-based instruction
