You’ll join a supportive school team, providing essential services to students at one of several locations: Claymont Elementary School, Harlan Elementary School, Maple Lane Elementary School, Mount Pleasant High School, or P.S. duPont Middle School. Assignments are full-time (35 hours per week) and run from late August 2026 through early June 2027.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active Delaware Special Education Teacher license (required to apply)
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school-aged students with special needs
  • Flexibility to work onsite Monday through Friday
  • Strong communication and collaborative spirit

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to ensure student success
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor progress, adapt strategies, and document outcomes
