Qualifications:

  • One year or more of classroom experience in special education required

  • Possession of an active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or currently in process (CDE license copy required; TEE not accepted)
  • Commitment to supporting a classroom with 10 students, peer mentors, and paraeducators

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with varied needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (paraprofessionals, BCBA, therapists)
  • Develop and implement IEPs, track progress, and communicate with families
  • Maintain a positive, proactive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and ongoing professional development
