As a Transitions Intensive Teacher, you'll have the chance to work with 18 to 21-year-old students, helping them build independence and job readiness both in and outside the classroom. Your days will be filled with meaningful purpose and opportunities for both professional and personal growth.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license, or currently in process (must submit proof with resume)
  • Minimum of one year classroom teaching experience
  • Flexible, collaborative team player
  • Experience with IEP writing, BSP development, and data collection

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and mentor a caseload of 12 special education students at the Transitions Center (ages 18–21)
  • Foster job readiness and life skills in classroom and community settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs and required documentation
  • Collaborate with educators and community partners to support student growth
