Qualifications:

• Current Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
• Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
• Experience with IEP development and case management preferred

Duties:

• Serve as a Resource Special Education Teacher for High School students, August 2026–May 2027
• Provide case management and direct instruction for students on IEPs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
• Develop and deliver a continuum of services, maintain accurate records
• Consult on the RtI process, actively communicate with parents and guardians
• Implement and support behavior intervention plans
• Partner with colleagues on accommodations and modifications
• Create a safe, encouraging learning environment and fulfill additional assigned duties
