Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
- Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
- Experience with IEP development and case management preferred
Duties:
- Serve as a Resource Special Education Teacher for High School students, August 2026–May 2027
- Provide case management and direct instruction for students on IEPs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Develop and deliver a continuum of services, maintain accurate records
- Consult on the RtI process, actively communicate with parents and guardians
- Implement and support behavior intervention plans
- Partner with colleagues on accommodations and modifications
- Create a safe, encouraging learning environment and fulfill additional assigned duties
