Gen Ed Teacher - Stillwater, Minnesota

An exciting opportunity is available for a Health Teacher who will make a direct impact in the lives of middle and high school students during the 2026/2027 academic year. This .7 FTE contract role will have you engaging with students in a dynamic, dual-campus environment focused on health, fitness, and wellness education.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching credential in General Education with a focus or endorsement in Health Education (or ability to obtain by start date)
• Previous classroom experience at the middle or high school level (preferred)
• Strong understanding of adolescent health, nutrition, and physical education best practices
• Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learners
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Instruct three sections of Beginning Weights and teach Nutrition classes at the high school level
• Lead Advisory and one section of Personal Wellness at the middle school level
• Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that empowers students to make informed health decisions
• Collaborate with colleagues across campuses to ensure continuity in curriculum and share best practices
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Participate in relevant school meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions

This role spans from August 31, 2026, through June 7, 2027, allowing you to inspire and shape students' health education experience across two vibrant school communities.
