ESL Gen Ed Teacher - Dupo, IL

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL endorsement required
• Experience teaching in K-12 educational settings, ideally as a general education or ESL teacher
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Passion for cultivating inclusive, supportive learning environments for English language learners

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective lesson plans tailored to English language learners’ needs
• Deliver engaging instruction that promotes language development and academic achievement
• Assess student progress regularly and adapt strategies to support individual growth
• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to encourage student success
• Maintain accurate records and provide constructive feedback to students and families
