You'll shape curriculum and deliver engaging instruction, including three high school Beginning Weights classes and Nutrition, while also facilitating advisory and Personal Wellness for middle school students. In this role, you'll help young people cultivate their understanding of health, fitness, and personal development during these critical years.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid teaching credential in General Education
• Demonstrated knowledge in Health, Nutrition, or Physical Education
• Experience working with middle and high school students strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies across varied age groups and topics
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Enthusiasm for fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

What You'll Be Doing:

• Deliver engaging lessons on wellness, nutrition, and fitness concepts
• Teach three sections of Beginning Weights and a variety of Nutrition classes at the high school level
• Lead advisory and a section focused on Personal Wellness at the middle school level
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curricular offerings
• Cultivate a classroom culture that promotes healthy lifestyles
• Monitor student progress and deliver constructive feedback
