Job Description
Bring your passion for mathematics and education to a dynamic high school setting as a Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year! This full-time contract position centers on fostering mathematical understanding and curiosity among high school students in a vibrant educational environment.
You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, collaborating with a dedicated faculty while providing instruction across a range of math subjects. This role is designed for educators who are committed to engaging learners and ready to support students’ growth and success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Michigan teaching certificate with Math Endorsement (please include details of your license/certifications upon application)
- Previous experience teaching high school mathematics preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to design and implement engaging lesson plans
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver standards-aligned math instruction to high school students
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
