Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting exceptional learners in a collaborative middle school environment near Broomfield, CO. This full-time position is dedicated to working within a close-knit classroom, where you'll be serving 10 students alongside an integrated team of paraeducators and specialized providers, including a BCBA, SLP, OT/PT, and Psych/SW support. Your role will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive setting with peer mentors and providing tailored instruction throughout the academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid or in-process CDE license (required for consideration; please submit active documentation with your application)
  • Minimum of one year of classroom experience, preferably in special education
  • Strong teamwork skills and adaptability within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Commitment to evidence-based instructional strategies and individualized student support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate daily with paraeducators, related service providers, and peer mentors to ensure comprehensive educational plans
  • Employ effective classroom management techniques, promoting a positive and structured environment
  • Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate regularly with families, colleagues, and support staff to foster a collaborative approach to student success
  • Embrace flexibility and teamwork to best serve students in an inclusive setting

This is an onsite role located in Boulder, running from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week (35 paid hours plus 2.5 hours of unpaid lunches).
