Job Description

What We're Looking For:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Prior experience in K-8 special education settings
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for advocacy and facilitating student success
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized instructional plans aligning with student IEPs
- Assess and monitor student progress, making data-informed adjustments as needed
- Facilitate a supportive, structured learning environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and staff
- Advise and communicate regularly with families about student progress and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
