Make a lasting impact in the lives of middle and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the southwest Houston area. This full-time, on-site, contract opportunity allows you to deliver vital speech and language therapy services for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll work with grades 6–8 and/or 10–12, depending on your experience and preference. With a manageable caseload of 50–60 students, you’ll have the chance to truly focus on each individual’s progress.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLP licensure is required; Florida license also accepted
  • Experience or interest working with grades 6–8 and/or 10–12
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Comfort performing the full scope of SLP duties, including therapy, ARD meetings, evaluations, and testing—or, you may opt to focus on SLP supervision
  • Flexibility for assignments near your ZIP code
  • Timely completion of district credentialing, including fingerprinting (may be completed if already on file)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and maintain documentation in compliance with state/district requirements
  • Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with educational teams
  • Develop and tailor individualized treatment plans
  • Supervise SLPAs or Clinical Fellows, if interested
  • Provide ongoing support and consultation to colleagues and families
