Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Richmond, TX

Step into a rewarding role making a difference in the lives of elementary students as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). This contract opportunity offers a chance to work full-time (35 hours/week over 4-5 days) in a supportive educational setting working exclusively onsite. Your expertise will focus on meeting the speech and language needs of a diverse student population, primarily at the elementary level. Spanish-English bilingualism is essential, and experience with self-contained classrooms is a plus.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist – CCC required
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Prior experience working in a school environment is essential
• Comfortable providing services in self-contained settings if needed
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• No SLPA or Clinical Fellow candidates for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students and deliver direct speech/language intervention services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s success
• Participate in developing and monitoring IEPs, providing progress reports, and maintaining accurate records
• Provide bilingual assessments and therapy to meet the linguistic needs of students
• Facilitate family engagement on therapy progress and recommendations
