Step into a rewarding opportunity as a contract occupational therapist supporting K-12 students. Based in the vibrant Denver area, you’ll play a crucial role in providing leave coverage for a school-based assignment, delivering direct services to students with diverse needs. This onsite position allows you to build valuable, in-person connections and make a tangible impact throughout the duration of the contract, running from ASAP through October 9, 2026.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Colorado Department of Education Occupational Therapist license (serving ages birth through 21)
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Demonstrate adaptability, communication skills, and a collaborative approach
  • Must successfully complete a background check upon offer acceptance

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services to assigned students across various schools (specific locations to be determined)
  • Develop individualized intervention plans, set goals, and document student progress in accordance with school objectives and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement strategies supporting students’ participation and success within educational environments
  • Engage in consultations and participate in meetings as needed to advocate for student needs
