Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting students’ communication and academic growth

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Document progress, maintain records, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide consultation and in-service training to school staff
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
