Job Description

This contract role offers the opportunity to work in school-based settings, providing essential speech and language services to children, with a focus on early childhood development and self-contained classroom experience. You’ll collaborate with educational staff, contribute to a caring and inclusive learning environment, and play a key role in students’ growth and success.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license (CCC required)
- Previous experience in a school environment required
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Able to manage a caseload in self-contained and general education settings
- Strong assessment, documentation, and progress reporting skills
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
- Educator credential is not necessary
- Prior work in early childhood centers is a significant advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students’ speech/language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students onsite
- Coordinate services with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide resources and recommendations to support student progress in the classroom
