What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with a Math Endorsement (please be sure to include current license/certification details).
• Experience teaching high school math or related subjects preferred.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and academically stimulating classroom environment.
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to tailor instruction to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Enthusiasm for collaboration with fellow educators, support staff, and students’ families.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement high-quality, standards-based math instruction for high school students.
• Assess student abilities regularly to adapt lessons, provide targeted feedback, and support student growth.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Create a safe, positive, and respectful classroom culture that encourages participation and critical thinking.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences as needed.
