Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Holds an active Louisiana Teaching License/Certification with all required ESL endorsements
• Experienced in General Education or ELA instruction; background in supporting English Learners is highly preferred
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
• Brings patience, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit to diverse learning environments
• Committed to fostering respect for different cultures and supporting varied learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lessons that build English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to ensure academic growth
• Provide individualized support to help students acclimate to classroom routines and expectations
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, school staff, and families to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate records and participate in professional development as needed
