School Speech Language Pathologist - Ypsilanti, MI

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license for the state of Michigan
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary school teams
• Dedicated to helping students with diverse needs succeed academically and socially

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted intervention strategies
• Provide direct therapy services individually and in group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, classroom staff, and parents on student goals and progress
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations on student support plans
• Stay current with best practices and maintain professional licensure requirements
