You’ll play a key role in enhancing student success, collaborating closely with educators, and tailoring speech and language interventions for a diverse student population.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for South Carolina
• Previous experience working in a school-based SLP role preferred
• Skilled in designing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and interpret results
• Develop and implement individualized therapy for students with speech or language disorders
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student goals and progress
• Work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to address students’ unique needs
• Maintain accurate and timely records required by the district and state
• Serve as a resource for staff on communication disorders and effective strategies
• Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment for all students
