Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid North Carolina SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly recommended
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite with students and multidisciplinary staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student goals and progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records and comply with state and federal regulations
- Contribute to IEP development, attend relevant meetings, and participate in intervention planning
- Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality, evidence-based practices
This full-time position runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week. You’ll be based entirely onsite within a supportive school community, fostering direct relationships with both students and staff.
