Job Description
Make an impact supporting students and staff as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school-based environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity begins in August 2026 and runs through May 2027, offering the chance to work closely with a team dedicated to enhancing communication skills and student achievement.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in South Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience serving pediatric or school-aged populations in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, evaluations, and therapy for students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to support students’ success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based problem solving
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional development in speech-language services
