Step into a rewarding opportunity to support elementary school students with communication needs as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position is based right outside Decatur, GA, offering a dedicated caseload and the chance to make a lasting impact within a dynamic school environment. The assignment runs from now through late May 2027, providing stability and professional growth in a collaborative educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (one required to start; plan to obtain both)
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLP Assistants with GaPSC certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but not required if Clinical Fellow
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary Duties:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, following IEP goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and document speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement targeted treatment plans and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and student support conferences as needed
  • Monitor progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state protocols
