Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and active Georgia SLP License or valid GaPSC Certification (either is acceptable initially; both will be required eventually)
  • Open to SLP-CCC, CF, and SLAs (with GAPSC certification)
  • Experience in school-based settings, particularly at the elementary level, strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and caregivers
  • Commitment to upholding student privacy and district-wide best practices
  • Ability to provide therapy and evaluation services with compassion and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students onsite
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to support students’ educational goals
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Participate in professional development opportunities relevant to school-based speech therapy
