This school-based contract opportunity offers a chance to leverage your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a collaborative, onsite environment. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (either required to start; both will ultimately be necessary)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and experienced SLP-CCC professionals
- Consideration given to Speech Language Assistants (SLAs) with GAPSC certification
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
- Passion for working with elementary-aged children in an onsite setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students on campus
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and progress
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and comply with all relevant guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall positive school culture
