Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Decatur, GA
Job Description

You’ll work exclusively onsite, actively shaping the communication skills of students and engaging closely with educational staff through the end of the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid GA SLP License or GaPSC Certification (one required to start; both needed eventually)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and experienced SLP-CCC
- SLAs are considered (must hold certification through GaPSC)
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric speech therapy
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with students, colleagues, and families
- Ability to provide services onsite Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic services to elementary-aged students onsite
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Adhere to all school district policies and professional standards
