Make a meaningful impact as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic, collaborative school environment near Woodland Park, CO. Currently, two positions are available: one full-time role with responsibilities shared between two elementary schools, and one part-time role (3 days per week) focusing on middle school students. Both opportunities are ideal for professionals eager to foster communication, learning, and social growth in students from diverse backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency with a variety of assessment, intervention, and documentation tools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and screenings for students to identify speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services, using evidence-based techniques in both individual and group settings
  • Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress and carryover of skills
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and regular team collaboration
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
