Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active Connecticut SLP license
  • Proven school-based SLP experience (required)
  • Elementary caseload experience preferred
  • Ability and willingness to split time between two sites, as needed
  • SLPAs are not being considered for this position
  • Successful district fingerprinting and background check prior to start
  • Upfront licenses highly valuable
  • Availability for Zoom interview

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic speech and language interventions to elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families for student success
  • Conduct assessments, implement IEP plans, and monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Flexibly travel between assigned school sites as needed
