Two contract paraprofessional opportunities are available, offering meaningful interaction with learners at both the middle school and elementary levels. What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a paraprofessional in school settings, particularly supporting students in academic and classroom environments
• Familiarity with general education classroom practices; experience supporting diverse learners is highly valued
• Willingness to complete required state trainings prior to or during your assignment
• Dependability, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and students

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and classroom support in mostly general education settings (middle school position), ensuring students receive the assistance they need to thrive
• For the elementary role, deliver dedicated support as part of a larger educational team (responsibilities to be confirmed at interview)
• Foster an encouraging, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with educators to discuss student needs and progress
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times

Position details:

• Middle School: Mondays and Thursdays, 7:30am–2:40pm, August 27–November 30 (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Elementary School: Full-time, 8:30am–3:30pm, August 27–June 11 (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch)
