Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in grades 7 through 12 as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is based at a single location, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and provide consistent care for approximately 33 students. Beginning August 31st, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people by guiding their communication and language development throughout the school year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based SLP practice
  • Experience with adolescent populations preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for documentation and collaboration
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy for individual and group student needs (approx. 1,500–2,000 minutes/month)
  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Develop targeted therapy plans in line with student goals and educational standards
  • Collaborate daily with educators, families, and other service providers
  • Maintain accurate records, track progress, and document service minutes
  • Offer consultation, support, and resources for teachers and families to foster effective communication in all environments
