Make a positive difference in the lives of students as a dedicated SLP in a supportive educational setting near Cathedral City, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for speech-language pathologists who are passionate about fostering communication skills and ready to step into a rewarding, full-time role serving school-aged youth.

Openings are available for two full-time SLP positions, each totaling 37.5 hours per week:

Position 1: Focus primarily on a high school caseload, supporting another experienced SLP by taking on overflow students to ensure each individual receives focused attention.
Position 2: Provide skilled services to both high school and middle school students, balancing needs across age groups and broadening your experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, though strong CFs encouraged to apply
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Organizational abilities to manage reports and caseload efficiently

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
