Speech Language Pathologist in Michigan City, IN

Three passionate Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide specialized services across elementary and intermediate grade levels for the upcoming academic year. This contract role offers flexibility in placement, with caseloads ranging from early learners in preschool through middle school—ensuring each day brings new challenges and achievements.

What we're looking for:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) strongly preferred
• Eligibility for Indiana licensure as an SLP
• Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
• Flexibility to work at single or split school sites, as assigned
• Strong collaboration skills and a student-centered approach
• SLPA applicants are not being considered at this time

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored speech-language therapy to a diverse student population (up to approx. 100 students, based on placement)
• Assess, plan, and document individualized goals and progress
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and SLAs if available and eligible
• Engage in flexible scheduling (7 hours/day, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Contribute to IEP development and attend relevant meetings
• Travel as needed between closely located school sites (for split-site roles)
