Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Early Childhood Long Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students ages 3-5 within a vibrant district. This contract position begins approximately September 7, 2026, and is expected to continue through November 30, 2026, providing 12 weeks of meaningful coverage to early learners. Working three days per week (22.5 hours), you’ll play a vital role in helping children develop crucial communication skills during a fundamental stage in their growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota SLP license (must be presented prior to consideration)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working with early childhood/ECSE populations strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in delivering school-based SLP services, including assessment, intervention, and documentation
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads and tailor interventions for individual student needs
  • Resume required for submission

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy to children ages 3-5 identified within the ECSE program
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct and consultative services according to IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and parent communication
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate optimal student outcomes
  • Participate in relevant meetings, professional development, and district initiatives
