Step into an impactful role supporting students and educators as a Special Education Teacher in a part-time, contract-to-hire position, rotating among three schools. Make a direct difference by partnering alongside teachers to ensure all students receive the specialized support they need to thrive throughout the school year.

In this position, you will:

  • Rotate between three local schools, assisting educators with caseloads that require additional expertise and support.
  • Work with diverse learners in environments committed to inclusion and academic growth.
  • Collaborate closely with other educators and staff to create engaging lesson plans and tailored support for students with mild to moderate needs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and student records in compliance with school and state requirements.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing, and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to fit the needs of each unique classroom and learner, promoting positive outcomes.

Desired qualifications:

  • Valid California CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate Disabilities (required).
  • Experience teaching students with disabilities in school settings.
  • Strong collaboration skills and commitment to team-based approaches.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in multiple school settings.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
