Two full-time positions are available, focusing on either a TK or a K-1 SDC (Special Day Class). What we’re looking for:

  • Valid CTC Certification: Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe credential required
  • Prior experience working within SDC environments, especially with TK or primary grades
  • Strong classroom management abilities tailored to students with diverse learning needs
  • Expertise in IEP development, implementation, and data-driven progress monitoring
  • Collaborative approach with general education staff, specialists, and families
  • Dedication to fostering a supportive, creative, and inclusive classroom culture
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and adapt lesson plans to accommodate varying instructional levels
  • Lead small group and individualized instruction in the SDC TK or K-1 setting
  • Manage and document IEP goals, progress reports, and required compliance paperwork
  • Use positive behavioral interventions and supports to encourage student growth
  • Engage with families and support networks to ensure students thrive
  • Participate in ongoing collaboration and professional learning
