Qualifications:

-Active California CTC certification required
-Must hold CTC certification in Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe
-Special Education teaching experience preferred
-Experience supporting students with diverse disabilities and learning needs highly valued
-Strong classroom management and instructional skills
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-Compassionate, adaptable, and student-focused approach
-Ability to work effectively with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams

Schedule:

-Full-time position
-2026–2027 school year (NSY 26/27)
-School-based schedule

Responsibilities:

-Provide specialized instruction and support to students receiving special education services
-Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies based on student needs
-Support students in mild/moderate and moderate/severe special education settings
-Monitor academic, behavioral, and functional progress
-Implement accommodations, modifications, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
-Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
-Maintain accurate student documentation and educational records
-Promote an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment
-Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered educational planning
