School Occupational Therapist - Mission Viejo, California

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active and current California Occupational Therapy license
• Previous experience working in a school setting (elementary experience preferred)
• Ability to work on-site, five days per week (part-time considered)
• Strong organizational skills, independence, and adaptability
• Passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning
• Please note: Only candidates who are OTs will be considered (no COTAs)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
• Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop IEP goals and ensure effective support
• Manage assigned school caseload, primarily at Marblehead Elementary School
• Quickly acclimate to ongoing changes within the district and on-site demands
• Communicate effectively with school staff and administration
