School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Buford, Georgia

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license valid for practice in Georgia
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Previous experience in a school environment is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments in accordance with federal and state guidelines
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and therapy interventions for students
• Document services and progress, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all requirements
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, special education staff, and administrators to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert guidance and recommendations
• Consult with educators and families on ways to support communication development inside and outside the classroom
