Looking to make a difference in the lives of elementary students? This exciting full-time contract opportunity near Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for supporting K-5 learners. In this school-based role, you'll provide vital speech and language services to a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students—all housed in a single site, ensuring continuity and stability. No teletherapy is required, allowing for meaningful, in-person connections with learners and staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Recent experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-5 students
  • Conduct assessments, create IEPs, and track student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary education efforts
  • Provide support, guidance, and education to students and their families as needed
