Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity serving elementary students in a charter setting renowned for its organization and supportive environment. This full-time role runs through June 2026 and offers the chance to work closely with K-5th grade students, focusing on high-impact, student-centered support within a collaborative school community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
  • Up-to-date Pennsylvania Clearances
  • Experience in school settings preferred, particularly with K-5th grade caseloads
  • Comfortable using the EdPlan IEP system or similar platforms
  • Strong communication, flexibility, and the ability to engage effectively with students

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 13 elementary students each day at a well-organized charter school
  • Conduct speech and language assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
  • Participate in quarterly progress monitoring, with no expectation to pull students prior strictly for report writing
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student success and social-emotional growth
  • Engage in ongoing communication with staff and families
  • Adhere to all school and district policies—note: Medicaid billing is not required
