Shape the future of education by supporting students who need it most. This contract opportunity is designed for a Special Education Teacher passionate about making a difference. You’ll play an essential role in delivering specialized instruction in a unique setting—a virtual program anchored by in-person support at the district office. Work closely with the Special Education Director and actively contribute to the growth and development of each student on your caseload.

What You Bring:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Demonstrated success in direct special education instruction
  • Prior experience working in virtual schools or hybrid educational settings strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for individualized instruction and collaborative education
  • Ability to adapt to evolving student needs and learning platforms

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to a caseload of approximately 7 students participating in the district’s virtual learning program
  • Work onsite at the district office, fostering relationships with students and staff
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with the Special Education Director and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal support
  • Assess progress and report on student achievement to families and district personnel
  • Advocate for students’ unique needs in a dynamic educational environment
  • Utilize technology and digital platforms to enhance learning experiences
