This in-person opportunity begins in early September and extends through late June, working a steady 35-hour week. You’ll support students’ artistic growth, fostering an engaging classroom environment as you await final confirmation on the specific age group you’ll teach.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active New York State teaching license with ART certification or endorsements
• Experience in general education and/or art instruction within a school setting
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, standards-based art lessons
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexibility to teach at a confirmed site in either Hornell or Bath, NY
• Passion for nurturing creativity and supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lessons that cultivate students’ artistic skills and appreciation
• Encourage participation in creative projects, adapting instruction as needed
• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom climate
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support educational goals
