Job Description
Inspire creativity and foster artistic expression as an Art Teacher within a supportive school environment near Waverly, NY. This contract position is set to begin on September 8, 2026, and continue through June 25, 2026, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours. The specific age group for instruction is to be confirmed, and the role is in-person, based in either Hornell or Bath, NY.
Qualifications:
- Current and active New York State Teaching License with required ART endorsements or certifications
- Previous experience as a General Education or Art Teacher in a school setting
- Passion for working with students and inspiring creative growth
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to create inclusive lesson plans catering to varied skill levels
- Comfortable collaborating with staff, administrators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate art instruction that aligns with curriculum standards
