Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role offers a dynamic environment working across multiple schools, serving a diverse caseload. You’ll play a vital role in helping young learners develop essential communication skills and reach their fullest potential throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active New York Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy for K-12 populations
  • TSSLD credential required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Flexibility to work itinerantly and manage travel across school sites

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, using best practices and individualized approaches
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families as part of the IEP team
  • Maintain accurate documentation, input progress in the school’s IEP system (training provided)
  • Participate in professional meetings and paid team collaboration
  • Travel between assigned schools as needed (paid travel)
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training offered by the district
  • Receive supervision and support tailored to your expertise (CFs and experienced SLPs encouraged to apply)
