Looking for an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners? A contract role is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding CCC credentials, supporting early childhood special education in a dynamic environment near Minneapolis, MN.

This .75 FTE position is tailored for a dedicated professional seeking variety in their workweek. Approximately half of your time will focus on conducting Initial Part C evaluations, which means you'll enjoy some flexibility with your schedule and interact with families directly—often in their homes. The remaining quarter of the role offers the chance to support a preschool classroom, allowing you to collaborate with teachers and foster language development in a structured group setting. Regular hours could run Monday through Friday, 9:00 am–3:00 pm.

Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Demonstrated experience with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) preferred
  • Flexibility and comfort conducting evaluations in family homes
  • Prior experience working with birth-to-three (B-3) families strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Initial Part C evaluations in collaboration with families, requiring travel to homes as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on evaluation outcomes
  • Work alongside preschool staff to support language and communication needs in the classroom
  • Maintain thorough documentation and follow state and district guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers, educators, and team members
