Step into an impactful contract role providing Speech-Language Pathology services within a highly supportive school district for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity focuses on delivering specialized care and intervention for students across K-12 and provides the chance to make a meaningful difference in both self-contained and itinerant settings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP-CCC certification required
  • Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Prior experience working in Maryland schools preferred
  • Expertise in servicing K-12 student populations, including moderate to severe needs
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as assigned
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students in both self-contained (high school, moderate to severe) and itinerant school environments
  • Manage a dynamic caseload that addresses spot fill needs across multiple locations
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress in accordance with district standards
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, collaborating with educators and support staff to ensure holistic care
  • Serve as a valuable resource for colleagues and families, offering guidance on speech and language development and intervention strategies
